Once you bring home that bacon, don't just fry it up in a pan - you have options! Have you tried frying bacon in the oven yet? Leaves your kitchen sparkling clean!
Oven-fry: Adjust the oven rack to the middle position and preheat the oven to 400F. Arrange the bacon slices on a rimmed baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper. Wait until the oven is completely preheated and then slide the baking sheet into the oven. Let the bacon cook, without turning, until the fat begins to render 5 to 6 minutes. Rotate the baking sheet and continue cooking until the bacon is crisp and brown (approximately another 5-6 minutes depending how crisp you like your bacon!). Transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Finally, pile the baked bacon onto a plate and have at it!
Pro tip: collect the bacon drippings in a clean Mason jar or another resealable container with a lid and tuck it in the ridge to reserve for another use!
