4lb 16-20 Shell on Head Off Block Frozen Shrimp

16-20 count approx. 64-80 shrimp per block

To Thaw

Thaw shrimp before cooking. Put shrimp in a colander and run cold water over them until thawed.

To Prepare

Pro tip: For juicy grilled shrimp, grill shrimp quickly with the ez peel shell on!

Oil the shrimp first and grill directly over a medium-hot fire (the grill and grates must be hot before you start cooking).

Shrimp cooks very quickly - anywhere from 4 to 8 minutes, so pay close attention. During grilling, the shrimp liquids become milky in colour and the flesh opaque with pink accents. Cook each side until it just turns opaque.

Note: if shrimp have curled or if they shell sticks to the meat, they have been overcooked. When grilled properly, the shell will come off neatly and cleanly!
